Arrive Budapest, Hungary 12:15 PM September 1, 2009.
Staying at the Hotel Erzsebet.

Activities in Budapest:
September 1-the famous thermal bath at Szechenyi to soak our weary bones. (Note: this is NOT a nude bath house.)
September 2-the City Market Hall (paprika for all), Castle District (winding statue-filled streets, impressive views, Buda Castle, Museums, labyrinths) and the Budapest Opera House (self-explanatory).

Arrive Krakow, Poland 12:40 PM
Staying at the Polski Pod Bialym Orlem Hotel.

Activities in Krakow:
September 3-Vistula River Cruise, Kazimierz (shops, synagogues, and Oskar Schindler's fabric shop), Wawel Castle (it's a castle!).
September 4- Auschwitz-Birkenau
September 5- Explore Krakow in the morning.

Arrive Prague, Czech Republic 4:25 PM
Staying at the St. George Hotel.

Activities in Prague:
September 5- Meet our friend Matt Gregory for supper and a night on the town.
September 6- Old Town Square (it's old, it's a square, there's a brilliant cathedral with a mechanical clock that's been running since Medieval times (Tyn Cathedral)) and Prague Castle (we're checking to see what's the going rate for this type of real estate, just in case we want to move in😊
September 7- National Museum and Wenceslas Square (we raise our glasses to the Velvet Revolution!), a walking tour of Josefov (the only original, intact Jewish Quarter left post-WWII).
September 8- Explore Prague!

Arrive in Paris 8:30 PM
Staying at the Villa St. Martin Hotel (has quaint little flower boxes under each window, how French😊

Activities in Paris:
September 9- La Louvre (Mona Lisa, etc.). The evening will be spent en Montmartre: le Moulin Rouge, Basilica of the Sacred Heart, Viva la vie Boheme!
September 10- 1/2 day tour of Versaille, Le Tour Eiffel (architecture), L'arc de Triomphe (war and architecture), Champs Elysees (shopping).
September 11- Cathedrale du Notre Dame, the Catacombs, and Shakespeare and Company Bookstore (finally, some English-speaking😊
