July 6th-
• Leave for London.
• Flight delayed 4 hours
• Get in at 11am
• Couldn’t sleep because of annoying man next to me
July 7th-
• Arrive at 11am and it’s raining
• All 6 of us with our 100 (exaggerated) bags get on Tube
• Get off at South Kensington, try to find the place to get keys
• Finally found it, lost 2 of our group members
• Take taxi to flat and walk up 6 flights of stairs to new room
• Unpack, meet other flat mates, all decide to go to dinner
• Try to find a place that takes 20 people, then split up because we can’t.
• Lose Ian (21st Birthday)
• Go to Imperial College to meet others
• Go home because so tired
July 8th—
• Orientation 10am, meet James
• Take tour of South Kensington
• Got food from Metrogate
July 9th-
• Took tour of London by bus.
• Slept through walking rour
• Went to Wagammamas for dinner
• Notting Hill afterwards at Old Swan
• Then to live band- The teasers
10th—
• Tea at Orangery
• Cucumber and cream cheese sandwiches
•
Tea
• Cake
• Scones
• Met dusty for the first time
• Walked around Kensington gardes/park
• Princess Diana’s Memorial Fountain
• Looking for Peter pan Statue
11th—
• Peter Pan Day
• Rained
• Went on amusement rides- swinging chairs and tea-cup like ride
• Tiger Tiger haha
12th—Slept?
13th—
• Class for the first time
• Went to Pizza Express
• Globe for “As You Like It”
14th—
• Class
• Got beer at imperial college and then ran into Drexel kids who convinced us to go to the Sports Cafe
• Got a free pitcher of long island ice tea from short man
• Met man who didn’t know where Philadelphia was
15—
• Went to Bookstore
• Harry Potter movie
• Went to green bar in Piccidilly
• Met a Jabawakee from America's Best Dance Crew
16th—
• Threw up like 12 times
• Late for train to paris
• Get a later train but have to wait 3 hours
• Get to paris
• Take metro to hotel
• Eat
• Have to get another room because we cant sneak people in
• Get ready
• Buy wine
• Go
to Eiffle Tower
• Monsoon
• Take cab home
• Watch twilight with commentary
• Story time with Leila
17th—
• Shopped during the day! Spent lots of money
• Went sight seeing
• Louve at night, met up with everyone
• Went back to the hostel after dinner at a local bar
18th—
• Slept in, went to lunch
• Notre Dame
• Went to a club where they served sparklers in your drinks!
• Went home afterwards and went to sleep.
19th—
• Got out of our hostel at 11am
• Went to mcdonalds and slept for 2 hours
• Got kicked out and got on our train home.
20th—?
21st—
• Went to the sports café for 7 pound long island pitchers!
22nd-
• Tour of British Museum, very boring
• Lunch at pub across the street
• Got lost trying to find our way to the Tube
• Finally returned home
23—
• Tour of Globe Theater
• 4 hours gap between next class
• Went to a pub for lunch and had Strawberry Fruli!
• Tour of Guardian newspaper
24th—
• Went to Big Ben in the
morning
• Decided to return home
• Made plans for Barcelona
• Went to Monroe’s nightclub
25th—
• Camden Market in the morning
• Then Primark (bigger walmart)
• O’Neills bar for drinks
26th—
• Buckingham Palace
27th—
• Class
• Then went to Yo Sushi!
28th—
• Class
• Went to the O2 British Museum where there are costumes and facts about music
29th—
• Went shopping for gifts for family/friends
30th—
• Drove to Stonehenge at 8am
• Took many pictures
• Drove an hour to Bath
• Had lunch, walked around, took tour of Roman Baths
• Drove home for 3 hours
• Read the book My Sister’s Keeper
• Went to O’Neill’s, but left early
31st—
• Went running around Hyde Park
• Rested at the Princess Diana Memorial Fountain
• Ran home
• Went to Portobello Market
• Went to a club in the middle of no where called Egg
• Saw a fight
• Took bus home w/ flatmates
1st—
• Went to breakfast, had an omelet
• Went running around the park again
• Came home and did some work
