Spring Point Light - South Portland MaineDay 6 - Maine Vacation 2009
Today we had breakfast at the restaurant adjoining our hotel called Governor's - it was vey good. Then we headed over to the Portland lighthouses to get a few pictures. We walked out to the Springpoint Light. There were a lot more gaps on that breakway than the one at Rockland. We walkd out to the lighthouse and watched a couple people who were fishing. Then we went to get a picture of the BugLight and onto Wells to meet up with Aunt Carol and Robin.
Wells was easy enough to find. It was about 40 minutes away. We found their hotel and then we all rode to Cape Neddick-Perkins Cove, York Harbor & Ogunquit. These areas were very busy with pedestrians and vehicles. It was very congested because it is a very scenic place. We paid 8.00 to park the car in Perkins Cove and walked around a bit and had lunch at Barnacle Billies.
Aunt Carol showed us a really nice beach in Wells and we walked to the jetties and had a couple drinks and made a funny video on the beach. She also had us buy a couple

SpringPoint Light - South Portland Maine loaves of bread to feed the sea gulls. The sea gulls didn't want any of it though - it was really funny. Later we stopped at Hanovers and bought a blueberry pie and ice cream!

We will meet you Sat. as promised but we will naturally go out to eat afterward. If you and Robert do not want to go out to eat, then we will take you home first. Our intended restaurant will be Fridays as we have 2fers and will run off one for you too if you want to go. Tell Robin and Carol hello from us and to come down someday. Glad you are having a good time. You can tell us all about it tomorrow!!!!!!!!
