DAYS 37 & 38

This Saturday after Ryan left at an unearthly hour I spent with Sylvia, mum's friend from school. She took me around the twon showing me thier old school, mum and das old house they shared with Shive and Jack, mum's house she grew up in (which has been changed so much I hardly recongnised it) and we also went to a Church fate. The afternoon bought a visit to Shive's aunt Evelyn and St Naih's Church were my granparents are burried.
That night we went to Lyn and Pat's for a barby but Pat was the only one of us game enough to brave the cold! We were also greated by a bashful Mark who had had a little incident with a highlighting kit. His hair was a nasty shad of bottle blonde! We spent the night eating Pat's 42 day old chickens, drinking wine, sharing stories and showing and taking pictures.
Sunday I went to Taney Church where my grandparents and mother used to go. I was introduced to all as Susan Rufli's daugther. Which was followed directly with the line 'oh you look just like your mother with ur father's colouring'. I was introduced to a number of people including the Rev Des, Joan Waugh, Margerie, Dudley Dolan and others.
After church I spent the afternoon with Avril. Firstly we vistited her daughter's place Helen for scones and juice. It was then off to see Theo in hospital after his hip operation. We then drove down near Hoath so that I could met up with thier son Steven who I had aparently gone to his wedding when I was but a babe. From there Avril drove me back to Malahide.
