Hello guys,

Writing this in my room listening to the rain outside-it rains a lot in Belgium, wishing that i was back in the streets of Rome with the warm sun on my place, all the different smells in the air and the movement of thousands of people from all four corners of th world-all there to see the Miracle of Rome.

There is not one world to describe Rome. It is now my favorite city ive seen so far in Europe. Its beautiful and with all its history its breathtaking. The Romans were genious to have been able to build beautiful and immense building way back then. People gasp when they see it today so back them people coming from other parts of the world must have been speachless looking at the city that must have been made by gods. I wish i could see rome in all its splendor back when it all stood.
Now there are mostly only ruins lefts but from them we can see how huge these buildings and monuments actually were.
The most famouse things that i saw in rome were:
the Vatican: biggest church in the rome seat of the power the the christian church. Must have cost millions to build. I was in awe on how huge it was. All the artwork was beautiful especially the Modonna-whitch Michangleo sculpted looked almost real.
The collasium: Huge huge huge-How could they have buit that! There are miles and miles of ruins surounding it too-It would take at least a day to see all of it.
The Pantheon-Also really really big was oringinally dedicated to all the Pagan gods of rome. There is a hole in the very top center that was said to have been made from of a visious deamon who broke it trying to get out.
THe fountain of Trevi: most beautiful of all the many fountains of rome-if you stand backwards and throw a penny you can make a wish and supposingly it will come true..i hope!
Anyways thats only a few of the many things i saw

I will see Rome again im sure at least one more time. It was once the seat of power in all the world and it is still breathtaking in its beauty and magesty. I will never forget this trip!
