Hola..............Mike's only question is " Who says a flatlander can't catch a fish in the Baja?" He is very proud of his white fish that he caught on Thursday. He went out with Bert, a great guy here in the park. They fished just down the way off the beach here in a deep hole about 300 feet . Bert had all the equipment and he was sure that they would have luck and they did. The guys got back, skinned and cleaned it and that is what we had for dinner! Fish tacos! Very scrumptious too. Can't get much fresher than that. Lots of dorado (aka mahimahi--sp???) is being caught in the last few weeks so we have plenty of that in our freezer now too! Oh, and I got a new refrigerator with a FROST FREE freezer! Who ever imagined that they even MADE new refrigerators withOUT frost free??? Only in the Baja. Not only did it NOT open on the "right" side, it was like the old days requiring defrosting! Now resting comfortably in the bodega. Also needs a new seal! Bah!
The last week has been wonderful. Light breezes, no clouds. I cannot complain.
We
had the last of our work done here for this year covering up the "open area" of the RV. Now the roof is protected from the sun and the rain and the winds that will be coming this summer. The guy we hired was top rate, finished the work in about 2 days so all we need now is to put in a little cement ramp in front by the gates and we are good for this year!
I got the chance to go out in a boat twice this week! It was so great to be out on the water and see the coast from the water. I went out with Jack and Betty in their boat on Friday for about 3 hours and they actually fished as we trolled along. Jack even caught a fish while we were out! We are not sure what type of fish it was, but it was pretty! Jack is a great sailor and has loads of experience with boats. Betty is a blast to be with and I enjoy her company too! We really are fortunate to have such fun people in this park.
We love to hear from you
so leave us some comments when you visit! A REAL visit would be better.........weather's great, beer is cold............come on down!

Nice catch!
Hi, Boy that looks like a lot of fun. Weather is typical March, one day nice, the next snow. Your gate looks great too! I'm glad your projects are done for the year, now you can enjoy the next month or so kayaking, hammocking and of course drinking mucho cervaza! Adios for now......your northern gringos :)
