| 19th April 2009 Nita | I'm going to miss reading about your adventures. - From: Countdown to going home...... One more year and we still haven't met face to face.....maybe next year??? Love Big Red and would take a ride on it anytime. Gorgeous here in Laguna and temps to reach 90 degrees by Monday....didn't go near the beach today or tomorrow, as I know it's packed! Flea Markets are so much fun and I always find something I didn't know I needed. There's one here (in Costa Mesa) that is year-round and I love it....found adorable handpainted shirts for $1.99 last time I was there....yes, $1.99 and good quality fabric. My friend who moved here from the Detroit area about the same time I did is moving back the end of June, and I'm so sad. She's tired of working so is quitting, will spend her summers at her lake home in Mi. and rent something here for the winter. She wants me to visit her later this summer, but I'm looking at 2 trips to Colorado and just don't know yet. Enjoy your remaining days to the FULLEST! BTW, that picture at the Road House is weird....I see the blonde pushing back her hair but the other person in which looks headless!!! |

| 7th April 2009 Nita | How could you eat that beautiful pig!!!!! - From: Happy Easter Week and other stuff.... For once I have some news. My son and DIL from Denver paid a surprise visit. I went to Juli's Sat. a.m. supposedly to go to the twins baseball game and back to the house for a cookout....when I walked in the front door, Angie and Kevin are coming down the stairs!! For once in my life I was speechless...stood there like a doofus thinking who/what/where????? And the g'children all knew about it for at least a month and didn't give it away....now that was an accomplishment, at least for Sebastian (the blabbermouth!). Little Riley will be 1 yr. old the end of this month so we celebrated his birthday early. He is such a little doll, fat cheeks, big blue eyes and reddish-blonde curls. , It's going to be hard to return to Michigan, but you've always got next year to look forward to. Seems you've accomplished a lot to your home this year and it looks great. |

| 26th March 2009 nita | - From: On the Sea of Cortez Your life continues to be a blast! Your "home away from home" is so attractive, and I know you're having fun getting it the way you want, even though each project is an adventure of one kind or another. Weather here in Orange County, Ca. is gorgeous and I'm enjoying day trips to the various beaches to eat, drink and be merry. I'm very involved in theatre stuff, cast in the spring play so I've got some lines to learn. My son/daughter-in-law are pregnant again with twins due in October, so I know I'll be needed again....this time chasing after Riley, who will be 18 mo. Hope this tired old body can keep up!!!! Love reading about your life but wonder if the drug wars in Mexico are a worry to you in your location......hope not! |

I'm glad that you were there to interpret and have the police get the okay to destroy the fox, otherwise, it could have been a real health hazard. Too funny, though, because on the site below the comment section there is a Google ad for Canine rabies vaccine.........go figure, LOL! |

| 4th February 2008 Sue | Too funny! - From: From the Gringo Gazette Hi, Mike and Kath. I started laughing out loud when I read the quote "...we will see crap flowing down the street..." I am still laughing as I type. The article was hysterical. If someone didn't know that it was a real newspaper, he/she would probably think it was a joke!!! Sorry the connection was bad to night! (Wah!) Love, Sue |
| 4th February 2008 Nita | And you LOVE Mexico??? - From: From the Gringo Gazette The sidewalk/curbs/sewer/electrical fiascos are hilarious. I would never drive there again either!!! Kath, the place looks darling, just like you! It looks so crisp and clean. I love the flamingos, too. So cute. Where did you get that kite? That is cool. Also, I like the other flag(?) hanging down. It took me about an hour to go through all the pics, because I wanted to enlarge them. I cannot believe the difference! It was great talking to you today. I miss you so much. I didn't like to be cut off like that Monday. Today we had a perfect connection. Hey, the same thing here. We had no coats on while shopping yesterday, but the townies were dressed as if they lived in Michigan! I think because there are no clouds and no trees, we get maximum sun, that we don't get at home. It was 65 yesterday and breezy, but I was still fine. Of course, it helps the hot flashes! Have fun. Hey, forget the frige. It is so cheap to eat out, I would just do that!!! Bye!!!! Love, Susie |

So.....no complaining about the RV being unlevel or the fridge on the blink!!! Keep the blog a comin'. Talk to you soon. Bob & Joyce |
