HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY TO ALL THE BLOGGERS!

Still here and enjoying the weather although it has become a little windy again, but I am not complaining at all. It was a little cloudy too the last couple of days and it even sprinkled. That is very unusual.

Today we just went on some of the back roads here in quest of this new hotel called Hotel de los Pescadores. We found it without a problem and went in to see it but no one was on duty! We had planned on having a brewski by the pool but no one was around to wait on us. It is a nice place with lots of potential but is not on the beach. I think it is owned by a gringo and it has about 6 rooms that are ready. Very nicely appointed but in the middle of no where. We also found another RV park that seems to be very new but, again, no one there!

One of the local cantinas here is offering a corned beef dinner in honor of St. Patrick's day but we haven't decided if we will go. We went last year when

The new palapas on the beach are causing a stir here. Residents here in CBRV fear that the locals will party here and have already done so. This photo is evidence of it! But the beach belongs to no one so what can anyone do?
Michael was here and it was fun. But I can have corned beef anytime so we may just go to the Cactus Restaurant and enjoy an authentic Mexican meal complete with an authentic dirt floor! Saturday there is a big pig roast here in the park so that should be pretty good and we are looking forward to that!

The latest drama here is the construction of the palapas on the beach. Everyone here is concerned that it will attract the locals to party here (which they have already done). Apparently last evening there was a couple having a lot of "fun" on the beach (in addition to playing loud music). I did hear it about 3 am but thought that the noise was coming from some party in town. One of the residents here on the front row had had enough of the noise and told them in no uncertain terms to "leave". They got the message and vacated the beach leaving behind their empty beer cans and other garbage. This is the part that gets to me too--the garbage left! We all hope that we can secure the beach gate and keep the public out of the

A total of 4 palapas were built in front of the park here. Could be a busy Easter wk here!! I hope so.
park and our bathrooms. We shall see..........

No more excitement here to report. Life is good and there are no bad days......................... Greetings to all at home!

Nice Hotel!
Well, it looks like your little town is expanding, even with the economy being bad. Love the color of your new Casa! We are finally enjoying some warmth and sunshine....it's been a long, long winter! Enjoy one for me!
