Another big thank you to everyone who has messaged us its always great to read them.

We had such a good time in Kolkata, met so many interesting and nice people, we never made it directly to Kerala we have detoured to a small beach town called Puri. It was recommended to us by a few people in Kolkata. We have also been warned against going south because the weather is getting hotter everyday!! But we thought we could hack it!!! so here we are south east India in 110 degree heat!

When we got here we was recommended a hotel near the beach so we headed straight there unknown to us that the room was next to a rubbish site, was full of bed bugs and we also spotted a snake nearby!!! we thought we would be hard and take it....we were there 3 nights and got bitten to death, got swollen feet, had birds flying in our room, couldn't get a wink of sleep in the heat and the sweet aroma of the rubbish tip brought in plagues of flies!!!! So.....we went and found a different hotel for only 100 rps more and we got our own bathroom, a balcony, a TV and a ceiling fan that worked!!! moral of the story is don't always listen to crazy Vietnamese women who recommend 'lovely' and 'cheap' hotels!!! As a result of our stay in this fly pit we now have to coat our skin with calamine lotion everyday for 5 days!!!

Anyway we are spotty and happy. Yesterday we hired a couple of mopeds and cruised the town and the coast!!! we thought we were so cool!! It was sooooo much fun!!

Today we have been kicked out our Hotel at 8am as we are leaving tonight to go to Chennai to then catch a train to Kerala on the southern tip of India, and hit the beaches ready for my birthday!!

We will add some more pictures soon so hang on in there dudes!!

Love you and miss you all x x x x

Hello Hippies x
Hey dudes! You both look like you were born to travel - loving the hippy look. Photos are amazing -it makes it real that you are really there. Freya took her first steps this week which she thinks is hilarious! She can make it half way across our living room before landing on her bum. I'm officially unemployed now yay! Going to boogie babies this afternoon where a guy with a guitar and bongos plays music for the kids (Is it appropriate for me to wear a leotard?) Hope you are having a fab time but miss you loads - Freya sends big wet kisses x x x Helen what's your e mail I can't remember it! Love you x x x x

Hiya both of you. It was lovely to catch up with you eventually (your mum just said) even if you had to stay up till after midnight. Smarty pants here has passed the first week of her practical training with flying colours (top of the class apparently), one more week to go and l will be fully qualified. Sounds like your still having a brilliant time (hope you took a photo of the rubbish tip) (that'll be one to remember and to tell your grandchildren). Did you get a lot of bites or was it just like joining the dots? Not a lot been happening here (will have to liven Upwell up and have a mega party soon cause Hazel next door really needs something to moan about as l hav'nt been here all last week) (I mean she is sooooooo desperate to winge about something, your mums got to find a stray bramble that has apparently been sunbathing in her garden (and of cause it had not been given permission to do so)). Anyway guys you take care and we look forward to your next blog. lol Auntie Sue and Mum xxx
