Hello every one hope your all well back home? we have had a stroke of luck and found a hotel with free internet!!!! so I can take my time, and have a proper chin wag with you all, perhaps even have a cuppa tea just like we were having a gos in sunny England! so let me tell you what happened in laos. First stop in Loas was a little island called Dondet, to get there, yep my favourite one of those rickerty little wooden boats! Hi everyone hope you're all happy and well. We are so excited to see y'all in October and catch up with all the goss and news! Well we made it to Cambodia. We took a bus from Thailand to the Cambodian border and literally got a few stamps in our passports and stepped into Cambodia. It was strange just walking from one country to the next and not catching a plane - weird. Our first stop was Siem Reap to visit the world famous temple ruins of Angkor. We got up at the crack of dawn (which becomes quite a habit when travelling) and went by our hired tuk tuk for the day, to watch the sun rise from one of the temple ruins. The rumor is true.....we are coming home due to lack of funds!!, you have now heard it officially from us. We fly home on 4th October, we are still going to all of the countries we planned to just spending less time in each.so excited to see you all. See you all in October!!! Yes you guessed it we couldn't resist the place.....we found a cheap flight and now we are back in India! We decided to go as north as we could to a place called Leh in Ladakh, it is right in the Himalayas (again) its beauty is absolutely breathtaking, as you will see on the photos. Helen thinks its what heaven should look like, its her favourite place so far and its definately one of mine too. First we had to get to Manali then we had to get to Leh. We discovered that the only way is by shared jeep or mini bus. Hi everyone we have missed our 'sort of' conversations with you all. Hope yuo are all happy and well?!! Sorry about the late updates we have been on a little remote island on the south east coast of Thailand, where the internet connection costs a packet but we are back to civilisation now on a bit more of a touristy island - Ko Phi Phi. Hi everyone!!! Sorry we have been a bit lapse on the blog recently, we are adjusting to the Thai way of life! We caught our plane from Delhi no problems on Singapore Airlines to Singapore (stopped there for an hour) then onto to Bangkok. Just as we were about to land we saw a beautiful sunset from the plane above the clouds...lush!!! We thought it would be simple with the name of the hotel written on a piece of paper to show the taxi driver on arrival but nothing is ever that simple....he knew the area but that was it...we were cruising around the backstreets before we decided to go our own way, that was when we met Mr Luis Lee (this random traveller from Korea who we came across outside a hotel that was closed) ... read more

You would never believe India could be as cold as it is now!! We are sitting here writing this in extreme climates in the mountains of the Himilayas. After a hair raising train ride from Delhi to Shimla perched on the edges of the mountain tops, we rocked up in our flip flops and thin clothes thinking "We're in India how cold could it be!!" We spent our first few nights in the indian YMCA with no heating and dodgy showers freezing our arses off!!! Shimla itself is a little resort that almost looked like we were in a seaside resort in England (without the sea) selling icecream left right and centre and everyone on their holidays! Hello familly, friends and the crew love to you all xxx We are back in Delhi once again waiting for a train to North India (Shimmla) and far North to explore the Himaylas!!!!! We spent some time in the south at Hampi and Goa after Lauras birthday and the house boat. Hampi was beautiful we stayed in a place called shanti, which in Hindi means slowly!!! very apt for me and my speedy mate laura!!! It was heaven like the name a pretty hotel in the middle of paddy fields. Hello everyone! Made it to the beach for my birthday after a 2hour bus, then an 18 hour train then a 15 hour train then a 2 hour bus back to back! We got to a beach resort called Varkala. It was lovely there, we kicked back and chilled, drank lots and ate seafood! On the day of my birthday we spent the day on the beach, had a picnic and we burnt to a crisp! Helen got me a toe ring and some Jagnath god figures and i got a painted coconut. It was sooooo hot there, about 100 degrees everyday beautiful sunshine then the night of my birthday the heavens opened and it absolutely poured down! typical, nevertheless had a great night with a group of other travellers in a place called the 'rock ... read more

Another big thank you to everyone who has messaged us its always great to read them. We had such a good time in Kolkata, met so many interesting and nice people, we never made it directly to Kerala we have detoured to a small beach town called Puri. It was recommended to us by a few people in Kolkata. We have also been warned against going south because the weather is getting hotter everyday!! But we thought we could hack it!!! so here we are south east India in 110 degree heat!
