One of the reasons for going to India was for Annya to be able to learn new dance routines. She has been taking two dance lessons a day since we got here. There is a dance performance today and one of her classes was canceled this week so the instructor can prepare.

The style of Dance Annya is studying is called Khalbelia Gypsy Dance taught by the Shakti School of Dance run by Colleena. Annya's instructor is an Indian woman from Pushkar called Raki. Since one class was being cancelled she found another school called the Krishna School of Dance run by Vinod Deva. She made arrangements to meet with him at his school and she is going to study Ghoomer, another Indian traditional dance. When she gets to his school he says Oh my mom teaches that. He then tells Annya to hop on the back of his motorcycle and he will take her there now. Going with the flow Annya hopes on the back of the Cycle and whips thru the small streets of Pushkar hanging on to Vinod. She is taken to Vinod's house and introduced to Laxmi his Mom who begins teaching her. Ghoomar also means " Spin" or "twirl". Now Annya is taking three classes a day, one in Khabelia at the Temple and two at the home of Laxmi. She is getting tired and is taking today, Sunday, off. The bottom of her feet hurt.

I was invited to come to there house and I did to visit. I met Dad , Mom , daughter and Granddaughter. Nice family, with Dad being a musician and Dancer as well.

Khalbelia Gypsy dancers performed at our Hotel again last night, complete with fire eaters. Hope the Pics turn out.

Did I mention Monkeys everywhere.

Hi there... I loved reading and seeing about your dance classes. I want to throw a little HipGnosis party at my home after you get back and feel recovered. Happy Birthday on your birthday...Since I doubt I'll get back on the computer before then. Love and Light to you both.
