Due to popular demand mainly from Mum- I have decided to write my last blog in Singapore!!! Bit of a sad time as its my last full day here so have got quite a bit planned. Anyway I sit here at 8.17AM and wide awake which is surprising as me and Nic were up till midnight playing 'Rome- Total War' on the computer!! Yesterday was a thoroughly enjoyable day- it was very interesting to visit an international asian style church of around 350, in the morning!! Then I enjoyed a lunchtime buffet at the 'British Club' which consisted of eating as much chinese/indian/sushi/chips/pizza as you could possibly fit in- and still have room for pudding!!! So as you can probably imagine I very much enjoyed myself at lunchtime, anyway the rest of the day was spent skyping home and Andy & Liz, looking after the kids and recovering from lunch. In the evening all the adults sat down with supper while playing on the wii and relaxing, before me and Nic had to conquer Africa with our Roman fleet! I slept well and am ready for a jam packed day including: more lunch 😊 some shopping in the city centre, visiting China Town and Little India before going to Singapore's most famous hotel for a drink that is only served there- not too sure what the name is right now though!! Anyway I better have a shower and get changed, so signing off from my first leg of the trip which is kind of sad as I have had such an amazing time here and will be sad to leave!! Many thanks must go to Nic, Suz and the kids who have made my experience that much better, and thank you to everyone who has been thinking about me at home in the UK!! Hope all is well for everyone and the weather is not getting you down, much love xx

Sad to leave.
I can understand why you are sad to leave Singapore. It has really been a great start to your four months and and has eased you in very gently. Don't expect the royal treatment when you get to Kenya! I am so pleased that you are having such a brilliant time. Love you, speak soon. Mom xx

Australia watch out!
Matt - great to hear some more from your time in Singapore. Hope your last day is full of fun and that you are excited about the adventures that await you in Sydney! We missed you last night at the first Glendale evening service. It was really great. Safe travel to Oz and looking forward to your next blog entry. Jen x

Raffles
I remember my visit to Raffles and I believe the famous drink is a ginsling or something like that! It is a beautiful old colonial building and very expensive to stay there!! So off to Oz! I should have lent you my book called"Strine" which is a dictionary of words you might need. try this one: "Egg Nisher" -a mechanical device for cooling and purifying the air in a room! "Gloria Soame " - a beautiful house! "Split Nair Dyke" - a continual sensation of pain in the head, as in "I got a split nair dyke." I'll lety you have some more next time!! God bless, Lesley x
