hi all, lots to report so ill try and keep it brief.

we set off in the van wed 14th jan to meet a friend further north of perth, there we stayed at his mad aunts house who is way cool and me nick and steve got hammered at this cool club in Leaderville. then we gatecrashed steve and his step dad even further north at their beach house in guilderton. it was gorgeous and very hot- so hot 50ks down the road there was a bloody great bush fire. ive never seen smoke like it! so after a few days of doing very little we drove to a sea side town south of perth called Bussleton then a little way down the road stayed in the van at yallingup beach. we were woken up by lots of cars passing at around 7am and realised we had stumbled across a big surf comp. it was great the waves were huge.

we then made our way to Margret River were we had to partake in a winery tour seen as its 1 of the best places in the world to grow wine- well it would be rude not to! a group of 17 of us were taken to 3 wineries before lunch and we sampled all whites and reds! needless to say after about 30tasters we were well on our way. lunch was provided and that consisted of Kangeroo, Wild bore and Wild turkey! YUM. nick and i, along with 3 others, also opted to try a witchity grub!!! luckily it had been cooked, it wasnt that bad actually. we also that day visited a cheese and a chocolate factory, we were tres happy!

we are on the south coast now and on the way down to Albany we climbed a 60metre tree and did the tree top walk, now we plan on relaxing here a few days then driving 400kms to Eparence. so all in all we are having a ball. we havent come across any dealy animals yet but surely we will do soon.
