hi all we are in argentina at the moment, been here 2 weeks. ill fill you in on the new zealand antics! we arrived in Aukland to be greated by rain and a temp of 10 degrees-bit of a change from fiji. 1st job was to get some warm clothes. Aukland is not the prettiest of cities especially in the rain. we had arranged to travel both the north and south island on the Magic Adventures tour bus. so after 2 days shopping we got picked up and headed for a place called Rotorua. on the way we stopped at (30 million year old) Waitomo glow worm caves-self explanitory realy- the tour through the caves was good especially compared to the man made glow worm caves we had been to in Oz. Rotorua is a big ... read more

hi all again ive not updated you for ages so here goes we left sydney and after getting very lost trying to get out of the city we finally made it onto the highway. we have discovered that tores (our van) does not like going faster then 80kph (about 50mph) and protests every time we try by flashing the "check engine" light so we have learnt that if you talk to him like a baby and dont exceed that speed he tends to be happy. with that in mind it has been a slow journey up to queensland. we have stopped at many places and some gorgeous beaches but ill just fill you in on the interesting bits. nelson bay which is a couple of hours from sydney( or 3 days in our case!) is beautiful ... read more

hi we are still staying with my friend but will be leaving in the next few days. we have bought a camper van. it is very old but it goes, the rego runs out out on 24th of may and we are not sure if it will get through the next 1 so we are getting on the road to get our moneys worth. at the moment it is raining here and the highway we need to go on to get up the east coast is partially blocked due to flooding so we are waiting for that to subside the we are heading to byron bay. i have put some more pictures on the last blog entry so check them out. hope you are all well, i will write when we have done something interesting happy ... read more

hi well we have moved to melbourne. After nearly 3 weeks of not doing a great deal in Aldinga, Adelaide we hired a relocation van to get us to Melbourne. this basically means we get a camper cheaper then usual as the rental company needs it back at a certain time. so we picked up the van in Adelaide, proceeded to get lost trying to get out of the city and finally we hit the road. the coastal route to melbourne takes you down the great ocean road. it is amazing. The bay of islands was first on the way which is chunks of limestone land that has broken away forn the main land and just looks gorgeous then onto the 12 apostles which is the same but smaller chunks. the drive itself takes you through ... read more

hello all were currently in adelaide, south australia, before anybody worries were a long way from all the bush fires in melbourne (victoria) although we are heading to melbourne in two weeks , but its away from all the devastation that you may be hearing on the news. were heading there for a week ,then were flying out to tasmania (free flights ) we only have to pay the tax..bargain. any way we arrived in adelaide a week ago just at the end of one of the hottest heatwaves in a hundred years, it was 40 + for around ten days. so weve had some good weather, but at the minute its dropped down to around 20 to 25 so were freezing ,so god only knows how cold it must be feeling at home, yesterday we went ... read more
