Southern India is without a doubt different from the Northern part of India. Southern part is greener and cleaner. The people in general are less aggressive. But something is missing … We were so sure that we will not miss the North but we were terribly wrong. Moments after landing in Kochi we were missing all the hassle the northern part of India has put us through. We definitely will be going back and do it all over the again. 😊
However, we are in Cochin now. On our first day we went to see waterfalls (and monkeys on the way), and it felt so much like Malaysia! Very westernized, including the driving style (read: aggressive). The waterfalls were lovely, after which we went to see elephants being bathed. Next day we got to see Fort Cochin - very touristy but quite pleasant (although I think anywhere would be quite pleasant after Rajasthan 😊). We got an Ayurvedic massage (great!), then went to see Kathakkali dance. The makeup part was almost more interesting than the performance itself 😊
We are staying with a couple of wonderful people who gave us a great advice on where to go for what...
We love our conversations and keep staying till late at night even though the lady of the house is a doctor and works way more than full time! She comes from a long line of Ayurvedic doctors and uses both Ayurvedic and current practise... We get to know a lot about Indian culture and the way of life... We were greated with a kralan dinner and taught how to eat with our hands. I think it would take a lot of practise... The breakfasts are so good that we feel that we can not stay here much longer as we might need a whole new clothing line!
Now we are off for breakfast (BIG breakfast) and on we go to Kotayam...
Later!

Pietine Indija labai skiriasi nuo Siaurines. Cia labai panasu i Malaizija: zalia, svaru, zmones nera agresyvus.
tik labai keistai pasijutom pirma ryta - ko tai nusivyle. Jau dabar pasiilge Radzastano. Gal daugiau adrenalino? 😊 atrodo, vel teks ten vaziuoti...
Siuo metu esame Kocine. Pirma diena vaziavom prie kriokliu, stebejom maudomus dramblius. Sis miestas turi gan daug turistu (ir is vakarietisku saliu, ir vietiniu). Kai kurie zmones nori su mumis nusifotografuoti 😊
Vakar
isbandeme Ajurvedos masaza. labai jau malonus.
Jie nelaiko hinduizmo religija. Jie tai vadina tradicija. Seimininke kilusi is Ajurvedos gydytoju seimos (jos senelis buvo vienas zymiausiu). Ji taiko abu metodus gydymui. Labai malonus zmones. Pasitiko mus su tipiskais Keralos pietumis. Bande mokinti mus valgyti rankomis, be sakuciu... Pusryciai labai dideli, atrodo lyg ruostu mus eiti lauku dirbti 😊
turim dabar eiti, nes vaziuojam i kita miesta - Kotajama...
Iki!
