Floating Village
These are some boats from the floating village. Today I met up with Murt and her friend in the morning, we first went to visit a floating village which is a village full of houseboats on a lake about 10km outside of siem reap it is quite an interesting place and to me it seems strange that people would choose to live there. We went for dinner in a western style restaurant which I think was a very special thing for the girls. Neither of the girls really knows how to read English and the menu was only in English…Murt says her friend cannot even read Cambodian. Whilst eating I realized neither of them used knives and forks or chopsticks at home as they were both struggling with these strangely advanced tools. In the afternoon we went to a market in the town, which sold lots of interesting things including pigs heads. We then headed back to Angkor where there was a balloon which goes up to get good views they see it everyday but had never been on, it gives a good view of the temples and the girls could see their homes from up there. we then went back to my hotel and watched tv I don’t

Come fly with me...
Oh, yes, that croc looks ver friendly, smiling so broadly sweet thing. "Come up to see my travel photos"! That's a good line. I'm saving up loads of questions for when I see you, like: first time in a balloon? Were you the only one on the tour? xx
