hi,

we have now loaded some photos up, there are some from india as well just scroll down to the older entry's to see them.

we have spent 2 days in shanghai now, yesterday we went to the yu gardens which were nice, we met an ace cat there. Then we went to a temple which was ok but they hadn't actually finished building it so couldn't go in the main bit. In the evening we went to a bar and met a chinese person i vaguely know, the drinks were so expensive 4.5 pound for a small beer!!

Anyway today we went to this really cool park, called Zhongshan Park. It seemed like everyone went there to relax. There were people sword fighting, knitting, dancing with fans, dancing with other people. We also took a boat around the lake that was in the middle of it, although you had to avoid the people fishing. Then we went to the a huge science museum which had the loads of school kids in. Turns out sighting seeing is very tiring, by about 2pm we get all crouchy and have to retreat back to the comfort of sharing a 8 bed dorm at the hostel. Saying that the showers here are really nice, and there is a cheap bar here.

I think we are leaving shanghai on sat morning and then going to Hangzhou about an hour south of shanghai which has some nice lakes apparently.

can't wait to relax on a beach in thailand, speak again soon
