I thought that I would post some pictures of my apartment in case anyone was wondering what it looked like. I will preface that I feel that my apartment is not the norm, especially for students in Paris. I have a quite large and new apartment. I definitely had a horse shoe up my butt when I found this place. I am very grateful for it, and my wonderful roommate. I also decided to throw up some pictures of random furniture that I have seen in furniture stores. I went furniture shopping with Alain one day and we saw some very interesting things. I have to admit, that I was very entertained by the different fashions. Having said that, the predominant fashion in furniture here is the minimalist, almost boxy type furniture that is fashionable, but not entire comfortable. The pictures of stuff that I took was more stuff that made me laugh so hard at either the fact that they thought people would spend any money on it, or that it was so over priced, at the same time as being ridiculously ugly, I had to capture it on film.
Enjoy

We came to the conclusion that this store was just a front for some money laundering scheme - I honestly did not think that anyone in their right mind would ever buy anything from them.

Please notice the embossed rhinestones in the pleats. And yes, I did get in trouble for taking this photo, but I didn't care.

Now, my room is not entirely glam glam or anything, but I have a double bed, a closet, a desk, a chest of drawers and room to move around - It is awesome

Wow, I'm amazed that living in the capital city of the western art world that you have no pictures on your walls. Are posters really overpriced, or perhaps you're not allowed to stick anything up?

Ha! I know. I have looked at posters and what not...but...I haven't found anything that I feel like spending my money on and since it is just where I sleep... Perhaps if I knew if I was staying, I would try harder to make it feel like a home.
