How fab to be back on our travels - arrived in Bangkok - all sort of familiar especially the traffic 2hrs to get from airport to hotel (around 19 miles!) Bangkok at night reminds me of a sci-fi movie - think it maybe blade runner - but in true thai style the taxi driver remained calm.
Went on a trip down the river - yeah - why I hate boats! but it was cool one and a half hours! Jb and I rarely barter - and we never feel ripped off - the experience always out weighs the baht. I love the fact that I'm always brought up sharp - sitting on a boat going down a very brown river thinking shit I hope I don't get weills disease by a drop of river landing on me. To look around to see kids swimming, people doing their washing, shacks hanging on by a wing and a prayer! We are so spoilt!
