The US elections made the news!
The morming started off in the usual way with a lovely heart warming devotional, and then the team split. Half of us headed to the roof and half stayed below. I was on the roof. At first I thought it was a great idea. I was sure I would feel like a monkey as I swung from rafter to rafter, but once up, my sea legs failed me and I found myself crawling along the roof beams as other pranced around me. Then, just about the time I started to feel brave enough to stand up, Reg and Kirk wobbled and I was back to scooting along the roof on my bum. But even so, the progress of seeing almost all the treces up at the end of the day was a great feelng!

Everyone seemed to be busy today which was great. On the ground folks were painting the beams that would act as the trim, lining the windows with flashing, and finishing the walls. On the roof we kept busy between the nailing of treces joking around and telling stories. That probably was the best part of the day, the sharing of stories with the local workers and

I LOVE the video of Brad, hilarious, it made my day. I sure hope you have sun there soon, it's raining and cloudy here in Mpls. I see the house is coming along nicely, it's great to watch how far you've come thru your pictures. Thanks for updating and keep working hard! -gena gilbertson

You all are doing wonderful work, and it looks like you are having some fun, too! Thank you for taking pictures of my daughter--I miss you Shani! To Shannon: Suki and Punkin are doing well. After they eat, they just want to hang out with me. Ron and I are about to leave to see them today. I am going with Grandma to see Abbey's play this afternoon--wish you were with me, Shan!
