Are you John Conner??Are you John Conner??Are you John Conner??

Dont worry about the title private joke. Harry after a few to many Chang beers, a few days before christmas.
Well we've eventually got off our arses and have travelled over to the other side of south Thailand to the Krabi provence. This is the first chance we've to update on the adventures of christmas.

The weather still wasn't great on Phangan so during the day just hung round in the bars, eating, reading, sleeping etc. Did our shopping for secret Santa. I got Trev which was a bit boring but i got him a pair of boardy shorts that he's been wanting for ages but was too tight to buy!

So christmas eve suddenly arrived, still didn't feel like it though. We had a thai buffet dinner patry on te beach which was so good. Trev could eat as many spring rolls as could fit, and my god could he fit some in! We went back to the bar we're were living at and danced the night away fuelled by far too many Blue Lagoons!

Christmas morning was weird, we all felt a bit homesick but were happy we were around friends. Jen and i sprayed the boys and Sandra and Siobhan, the girls from London (who'd moved in with us) with silly string, good idea at

the time but not when we spent half the mornig cleaning it up! We went downstairs for pressies. Jon had me and brought me a all singing, all dancing rastafarian with a spliff hanging its mouth! All the girls got a bracelet, another one to add to my arm, the white marks gonna be huge!

We all had christmas dinner together in the evening, a mix between English, Thai and Swedish. Trev was in his heaven when no-one wanted the gaint ribs we got, i swear he ate a whole pig! We went out in Hat Rin, all ready to party when half way there the heavens opened! Us girls desperatly tried to save the hair do's but we all got soaked. The dancing and drinking helped dry as out but when we went to go home, pouring again, the roads like rivers! Managed to find a taxi where us Ladies sung christmas songs, much to the annoyance of everyone else!

The road to our beach is all mud so in the rain can be dodgy as our taxi soon found out! After we left it, it got stuck so Jon and Trev went out to help. 15

ins later still hadn't budged so girls to the rescue, Jen and I went out. We all got it moving and pushed it 100m up a hill. Covered in mud, soaking wet. we all passed out, this time not from alcohol but from actually doing physical exercise!

We decided we'd had long enough in Phangan so Sandra, Siobhan, Jen, Trev and I (yes he is lucky to be travelling with 4 gorgeous girls!). We had the most amazing boat journery to Surat Thani. The sea was so calm and blue and the sun so hot. We sat on the front and we all now have serios white bits! We arrived by bus in Ao Nang last night, where McDonalds was the best thing we'd ever seen. Why do we hate it so much at home but love it here?!

Hope everyone had a lovely christmas and have a brilliant new year. We'll prob update next when we get to Australia.

Kim xx

P.S. Trev has now finished reading his second book called 'Time line' by Michael Crichton and has started a new book called 'by the light of the moon' by Dean Koontz

In Thailand you need to eat at least 6 times as much thai food to equal one normal english meal.....so I keep telling myself.

Due to the rain the track that led to where we were staying became very muddy and the Taxi that brought us back from Haadrin on Christmas night got stuck in the mud. We spent over an hour pushing 2 taxi's over 100m up a hill......we didnt even get our money back! The pic is of John and I washing the mud off ourselves.
