Last weekend I went out to the Dunes with my sister Cata and two friends... they were absolutely gorgeous and it was so stunning to look out at the mountains and dunes around us when we climbed up one of the dunes. It was great fun rolling around in the sand (a bit like going to the sand pits in the summer) and the sand was sooooooo fine! It was more like rolling around flour! Afterwards, even after showering I still had sand EVERYWHERE though! I still have some in ears.... looks like I´ll always have a little bit of Chile with me, cause we´re going to the dunes again this weekend (and plus I don´t think I´ll ever fully get the dust out of my lungs... it´s so dry and dusty!).
And you might notice that there are pictures of PUPPIES!!!!!!!!!! One of the guard dogs, Nutela, had puppies a few days ago! They are so so so cute and soft and cuddly! There are six (a few died in the first day, but it looks like these six will make it, despite Nutela being a bit dumb and sitting on them from time to time). I´ve been spending
a lot of time with the puppies, and actually Nutela has started leaving me with them in the dog house... I didn´t really know what to do the first time, but ended up curled up with all six puppies keeping them warm (it gets pretty cold here at night in the winter) until she decided to come back and lie down a little while later!
hey I just noticed that this provides a striking similarity to Laura´s exchange! she got kittens, i get puppies... haha!

Sand surfing!
Cute puppies! You should find out if anyone has a snowboard anywhere and try out some dune surfing.....it's really fun! Black plastic bags on the butt work well too.....:0)
