Our Last Canadian Vacation
Camping a few weeks ago...probably the last time that'll happen for a while!3 Weeks Till We Head Out!
Well this is our first entry. We are preparing to leave for our adventures in 3 weeks from today. Once it is closer to the date and we are headed out, it will be updated more.
Here is a little bit of background information on our plans:
Myself (Ashley) and Trent (my boyfriend) are moving permanently to Melbourne, Australia. Trent grew up in Australia, and so because he is an Australian citizen, he has sponsored me to be able to live and work in Australia. We have been planning for about a year now, and as we are getting down to the last few weeks before we leave, it is getting more and more exciting (and a little nerve racking!)
We leave Edmonton, Alberta on September 15th and fly to Las Vegas. We are in Vegas for a few days, and on September 17th we're renting a car and driving to Los Angeles. In LA we plan to do some shopping, Disneyland, and Universal Studios. We depart LA on September 21st for the Cook Islands! Once in Rarotonga, we are flying to on of the smaller islands called Aitutaki. It'll be great to relax and do NOTHING for 8 days. We then leave The Cooks on Sept 30, and after a short stop in Auckland, we'll be in Melbourne on October 1st. Trent has family there who we will be staying with, and after that...who knows!! We're going to take things as they come-and keep everyone updated on here!
I will blog more closer to our departure date, probably around the time we're scrambling to get everything done before we leave!!

Hi Ash and Trent, Better yet, before you leave, I'm coming to visit...! It won't be as exciting, but, for me it will a very emotional time...love you guys!!
