Hello and welcome to Emily's travel blog for stories and pictures of Sweden and other European adventures! I fly out in one week from Minneapolis. Next Monday at 7pm, I will fly 6 hours to Reykjavik, Iceland with Eric and Amy (fellow students from Duluth). We have to wait an hour and a half to board for Copenhagen. That flight will take 3- 1/2 hours. From Copenhagen, we will take a train to Vaxjo, Sweden, arriving around 5pm. So I think that's about 15 hours of travelling which I am nervous and excited for. I've actually never flown internationally, but I have had a good track record with air and train travel in the states. I don't really know where I will be living, going to class, or buying groceries until I get there, but the International Office at Vaxjo University has assured me I will be just fine 😊 . So here is the first entry of my travel blog, and there will be much more to come. I miss Minnesota already.
