Today we went for a lovely morning bike ride. I was feeling congested and sick, but once I took a shower and got out on a velib my spirits lifted and I had just the best day ever.

Robyn and I biked over near the Eiffel Tower and then walked back by the Louvre and Pompidou to the apartment. We went over the the Sunday Bastille Marché and got Fromage and fruits and veg.

After a lovely little lunch we did laundry and then made our way over to Sainte Chapelle for a concert of Vivaldi's "Four Seasons" in the chapel. What a beautiful way to see this 13th century marvel. The sun was out and shown brilliantly through the stained glass. Moreover, the alter which was under construction when we were here a year and a half ago is finished so we got to see the entire chapel at it's best.
They even played an encore performance of Gershwin's "Summertime".

What a deal too! You'd be a fool in the summer NOT to go to a concert here! We got in for 16EUR (student price) and it would have cost us 9EUR just to get in to see the chapel!

A lovely stroll home and a nice poulet for dinner really hit the spot. I have also made a proper cheese plate with all the correct cheeses: Blue Cheese, Brie, Chevre and Swiss. A lovely dinner indeed, washed down by a fruity summery cider. It was simply lovely and lovely as well.

That guy's just doing air guitar! You could easily do that in NY. But I'm not sure you should ever leave Paris. You and Robyn look so happy!
