Scary huh!
On the second to last day of our tour, we stopped at this placed called Coral Bay for a couple of hours. Most of the group did this glass bottom boat tour, but me and Lyndsey decided to explore this quaint little place and went on a walk on the beach. It ended up being a two hour walk and the most amazing place we had both ever seen! We didn't see a soul on our walk and it was so beautiful. Literally straight out of a travel magazine. The sand was white and the water crystal clear at the beginning and then several shades of blue as it got deeper. Absolutely perfect! Lynds and I decided then and there we had to come back. That's when the planning began..haha. We changed our flights and stayed in Coral Bay for a week. It is so great, literally population of like 50 and the people are great, the cutest little beach town I've ever been to. There is even a part on the walk where there are like 60 reef sharks swimming like three feet from the beach, pretty scary! We both got in testing our nerves and got pretty close to them, it was really cool! We both wanted to go scuba diving but unfortuanately had colds the entire time. We opted for a full day sailing tour that included some amazing snorkelling. I took some pics on an underwater camera, but they're not developed yet. Anyway, me and Lynds had the most amazing time! We even came to find out that the one hotel in Coral Bay has recently been purchased by the Hiltons, and they're putting up one of they're blinged out hotels. So, our little Coral Bay will probably not be the same in the next couple years. Oh well, me and Lynds will never forget the quaint and amazing little place we spent a wonderful week exploring.
