By law beggars can't beg in Prague, so they hangout on their knees with their hands or a cup or hat out looking for change.
So as you know, I stayed in last night. I basically tried to catch up a bit on my blog, organized photos, and chatted with friends online. It seems like ages since I’ve seen some of them. Surprisingly enough though, I’m not homesick. I thought I’d be pretty homesick by this point in the trip, but no dice.

I got up, got ready, and looked at my guide book for a while. Apparently, I’ve seen pretty much everything Prague has to offer as far as sites are concerned. I therefore figured I’d take it a little easy today. I talked to my godmother the night before online and she asked me to get her some candles from this one church by the charles bridge. Seeing as how I’m in Prague and everything she’s done for me in my life, there was absolutely no way I could say no.

I headed out, crossed the charles bridge, went to the church and picked up some candles for her. On the way back, I stopped by to enjoy that jazz band again. Since I was out of stuff to check out, I figured I’d take the metro to a farther end of town and see how non-touristy life in Prague really was. I just chose a random stop, got off, and walked around. I must say, it was a bit different than the clean touristy center. I’m glad I got both perspectives of Czech life though. At this point it was about 4 or so, so I went back to the hostel. I figured I would need some rest since I wasn’t going to get much since I was going on a pub crawl and had a train to catch tomorrow to head to Munich.

After hanging out for a while, I got ready and headed towards the Old Town Center by myself to meet up with the pub crawl. Unfortunately, I got there a little too late and it had left by then. Damn. Do I go back to the hostel? Screw that! I came to party damnit! Even to my own surprise, I found Molly Malone’s pub in the labrynth that is Prague’s streets at night. But oh well, the important thing is that I found it.

I quickly made friends with some Australians. I must say, Aussies have to be some of the friendliest people in the world. Every Aussie I’ve met has been nothing but SUPER nice. Anyways, we hung out, had beers and absinthe during the power hour. From there we went to the pubs. At another one of the pubs, I met a group of Mexican girls. It was pretty funny because they loved the fact I spoke Spanish. I guess they were tired of not having people understand them haha.
Anyways, we danced and partied till about 5 in the morning. It was definitely good times. At this point, I figured I might as well get some sleep since I had to get up and check out at 10.

I walked my way back to the hostel and went to sleep. A small side note, Prague is a VERY walkable city. I didn’t even need my map to get back to the hostel at this point. Anyways, I’m sure I’ll be hating life tomorrow morning, so until then……
