Sydney bats
just hanging around Nice sunny day today so was off out and about. First 'port' of call was Darling Harbour where I wandered around and looked at the boats and harbour then strolled along and found myself in Hyde Park, sydney style - gorgeous trees and parrots flying about all over the place and these crane things, with a long curved beak - must get a picture. Continuing the nature theme I found the Royal Botanical Gardens which are beautiful and lead to the main attractions: Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House yay! It was great and a bit surreal to actually be seeing it in the flesh. All very gorgeous and lovely! I shall be back.
Went back throught the botanical gardens where I finally saw all the bats that roost there in the day, apparently they are moved on around dusk as the botanical garden doesnt want them to stay permanently. I LOVE BATS, they are red faced foxes or something like that. I stood for ages watching them. Although I moved along quickly after realising I was stood very close to a huge spider
The galllery I will be working at is in the gardens so I found it
