Lazy Town Live!Lazy Town Live!Lazy Town Live!

Wah ha hay! Real super-heros immediately before setting off. Can it be better?
We packed the car Saturday morning, loaded the kids in and said goodbye, within 10 yards Jay chirped happily, "I love my holiday" to which Asha added "yes it's so beautiful Jay, isn't it" - that's before we had turned left onto Hawks Hill!

LazyTown was the first stop, a whole hour and a half of songs, apple eating, gymnastics, rippling muscle and generally feeling inadequate. But what a hoot, after getting over the disappointment that the man himself had been substituted with a smaller version with a moulded six pack stuffed down his t-shirt.
We danced in the isles and ate ice cream - eventually. Asha "No we can't have ice cream mummy, Sporticus will be cross ............. oh well maybe during the interval when he won't notice"

Then a quick toilet run before the big head off to catch the ferry. The idea was car trip, been a busy day, kids sleep somewhere from Ashford to Brussels, lovely quiet trip - but oh no, the thought of going under the sea on a train in the car was all too much excitement. Asha telling Jay that we will be under Sharks, Jellyfish, Stingray and even tiny little fish. Jay starting to look a little concerned asking how a tunnel would stop then getting to close. As the train started to move, Jay held onto his seat rather too tightly and said "please daddy can you do the windows up to stop the sharks getting in"

Once in France Asha started speaking French, wow, Bonjour, Je m'appelle Claude? and Assez Pooh were summarising her first year of learning the french language. Explains the comments on the school report.

And then quiet, they fell asleep at 11.00pm, to be carried to the motorway Hotel room half asleep on the ring road of Brussels. Two adjoining rooms, girls room/boys room. Boys waking up first the next morning, girls sleeping in, pretty much like at home really ...... to start the new journey to DA.

Brussels Ring
Hi all. Was thinking hard of you and hoping to pass you on the Ring as I headed home at 23h45 Sat night after stuffing my face at a wedding reception and managing no less (and I think no more than) 5(!) glasses of wine (perhaps a good thing I didn't pass you on the Ring!!) Wonder if the receptionist was honest enough to leave you the little package I dropped off at the hotel earlier????!! Continue having fun - am enjoying your blog. xxx
