Locarno to Messingen
Trucking Swiss style.Hello, we´ve arrived today in Messingen, close to the Austrian border and to Bavaria, approx 100 klm from Munich. We left Locarno at around 10 this morning, direct to Zurich, arrived there at 2pm with no idea where to go next as we are not due in Munich till tomorrow! So I found some lockers, dumped the bags and went searching for an internet point. Looked up Google maps and Messingen looked good so here we are. We walked into a bar opposite the station and we were greeted like old friends hahahaha, the locals are hilarious. Asked about somewhere to stay and we´ve found a great place with a restuarant, so we are fed, beered up and about to hit the town for a look around. So we travelled through Austria today, the train trip was starting to get a bit tedious after Zurich, what with four train changes to get to Messingen, like WTF!! And everything is like seriously foreign and the trains leave one after the other so stressed to the max not to miss any train. But, as they say here, alles gut, on with the show lol.
