Cinque Terra

Hello from Bassia in Cinque Terra. There are five villages in the region, this is Riomaggiore and Manarola. It is an extensive wine growing region, tried some with tea last night. We caught the train from there to Manorola, a four minute trip. Today we will do the walk, the Via di Amore, and visit the other villages along the coast. We plan to go snorkelling and kayaking as well today. Staying in the hostel in the village of Biassa, a 10 minute bus ride from the coast. The church bells are very loud and frequent! Have only met one other Aussie so far, had an interesting convo with some studenti literati fron Venezia last night, good practice for my Italiano. Ciao tutto! :-)
