Here we are, still in Rome and the heat is blistering. 33 today, how much more can a koala bare? Today went to the Vatican Museum, which houses the Sistine Chapel. Thought we'd beat the crowds and go early, not, still packed solid at 8.30am. On with the show. Tomorrow we will look at going to the ancient Rome Harbour Osteo Antico. We had thought about doing Pompei but it takes ages to get there apparently, and there is no shade and few facilities. Bye all ;-)

good thing you invested in a great camera, the pics are awesome. excellent work Dad. its so beautiful there. i hope there are more pics to show when you get back! do you have a video camera too ? video some of the tours if you can. how cute the doggies statues, you cant help yourself but find all the dogs in rome! love the comment on the statue, crack up! weather looks lovely, wish i was there! love you xo
