The Next Day
A photo on my camera from the night before and Sanae recovering on the bed I was dancing wildly; gyrating my hips, flicking my hair out of my eyes and swaying my head to the fast hypnotic beat. My entire body was covered in a thick layer of moisture, some from the rain but mostly from the sweat that was pouring out of every pore of my body as I jumped, shouted and bounced along to the remixed Janet Jackson track blaring from the speaker behind me. A pair of arms encircled me and a shirtless torso started bumping and grinding up behind me, I took a deep sip of my cocktail and whirled around to face my assailant. Yaaaaaaaaay! I squealed with delight and threw my arms around the gorgeous young japanese man "Go! You found me! I'm having the best bloody time ever!" Go smiled sweetly at me and took a sip of my drink "Yeah.... it's fun isn't it?" he then gave me a cheeky look, whirled around and disappeared behind a small wall with another young man, this one also shirtless, but a gaijin, like me with a satisfied smile on his face. Hehehe I giggled to myself and made a note not to look behind the wall for at least 10 minutes. Sanae returned from the bar and grabbed my hand, bouncing along to the beat, she pulled me to the bottom of the stage and asked me which one was my favourite, I looked thoughtfully at the dancing muscle men clad only in the briefest of briefs and considered my options. The one closest to me gave me a wink and thrust his briefly packaged package in my face. I shook my head head decisively and pointed to his co-worker. "Him" I shouted to Sanae "I like him the best!" My choice celebrated my decision by turning his back and wiggling his ass to the crowd - the crowd responded with a whooping cheer and the dance floor started to heave as a new song kicked in. Go was still submerged behind the wall with his ew blonde friend so Sanae and I decided to explore a little further and catch the drag show up on the next level. Stepping through the crowds I was nearly getting crushed by a fat librarian looking man coming out of the mens only room (aka room for making man love), he had a pleased smile on his face and waddled away quickly towards the bar and was followed out by a skinny emo type japanese pushing up his glasses and looking around nervously. Oh god to be a spy on the wall of the sexy time man room. I kind of wanted to go in just to see if what i thought was going on in there was really going on in there, but I wouldn't have been allowed, there was a underwear clad security man on the door armed with a whip and I didn't care to find out just how corporeal the punishment would be for a lady to be caught sneaking into the man only sexy time lurve making room. We hustled up the stairs to the hip hop room where the drag queen show was taking place, a beautiful queen attired in feathers and glitter pushed into me as she strode passed. She then turned around "sumimasened" and gave me a small bow. As much as I didn't want to miss the show I was stuck to the ground in utmost shock I just couldn't believe it. I have never, NEVER in my life seen a drag queen bow. I have spen many a night along Oxford St cheering on the Pink impersonators and the Christina Aguileras and I have never, never, NEVER seen a drag queen bow. It@s just not in their nature! they are supposed to tower over us not only with their excessively high shoes but with their excessively superior demeanor! It was amazing. It was sooooo Japanese. The drag show commenced, the drinks kept a coming, Go emerged from behind the small wall and we danced into oblivion with some new friends. At 6:00am dawn was breaking and Sanae was asleep across my bosom making little whimpering noises. We made our way passed the main bar now covered in sexy muscley type strippers dancing for the still raring crowds and headed slowly to the station under the safetly of the umbrella to join the weary gay masses on the trains headed for Tokyo. Given that we live in Saitama it was a long trip home. We finally made it, exhausted, still slightly drunk, but very, very happy, I had 3 messages on my phone when I got home all from the new friends I'd made that night. Ahhh, I went to bed with a smile on my face and song in my head, it really was a perfect evening.
