Hi everyone, long time no see...please forgive me, I've been busy....
I'm still in Mysore for another few hours, then boarding the night bus to Kerala. This is not a good time to get some kind of stomach ailment, but hey it's all part of the 'experience'...I wouldn't mind so much, but I'm not sick from a street vendor's dodgy masala, but from my own cooking!!! Hahaha. Wish people would stop having staring competitions with me when I'm doubled over in pain....they won't win...Anyhow, despite this tragic ending, I'll miss Mysore, had some great times here, learnt so much, made some lifelong friends, and qualified as a yogini. The last class I taught was really touching, all the students were sad to see me go, but wished me luck. They kept suggesting I get married there and stay. Thought you have to find a husband 1st??? Not these guys, obviously arranged marriages are still all the rage. So am running away to the hills (+ beaches) of.....Thailand!
FAR OUT
I'm loving my new profession, it's opened my mind up to loads of new things. I'm getting really interested in different styles of meditation and breathing practices, been teaching this too
and it's the most chilled feelling I've ever felt. One of the excercises is to stare for as long as possible at a candle flame without blinking. When I started , I could barely keep my eyes open for 10 seconds, but now have managed minutes at a time. ....my next step is to learn to teach transcendental meditation (the art of flying with your eyes closed) in a couple of months time. Should be extremely lucrative, not many people teaching that 1...hahaha
INDIA OLYMPICS
Well my guru has been so encouraging over the weeks. He's taken me all over the place to perform at demonstrations and the like. Think my British passport is standing me in high regard over here. He's been forcing me into all sorts of postures and laughing at my grimacing. But am so thankful to him and his amazing wife (just bought lots of ayurvedic magic potions from her...) for getting me up to speed in only 6 weeks. Infact he's so encouraging that he's entered me into the International yoga championships at the end of July. Shit! Still can't go on a bender. Don't know if I've got a chance in hell of
doing even okay at this thing, but luck is on my side. My age category is 28-36, so me being 28 gives me an upper hand on the oldies. Any other ideas to help or to cheat are very much welcomed!
EVOLVING MASTER PLAN
I should update this part daily as I'm always changing it. Sorry to my loved ones for this impulsive/flighty/whatever u call it character trait I possess, I must cause quite a lot of distress...and this 1 should cause a little more...From mid November, I'll be moving to Sydney, OZ with my pal April, and an Oz friend of ours from back home Anne Marie. This was April's brainwave...I like that she's bringing in something new to the story. April's just about found a job and 4 me, well we'll see... Don't know how long I'm going to stay 4, but have got a 1 year work visa sorted, and I still intend to keep travelling Asia I'm just adding Australasia to that list now! Will be based there for at least 6 months, and then will take it from there. So now the plan is coming 2gether....am off to Thailand for a few weeks b4

My new pal Suresh showing off heading back to India where I'm meeting up with April in Mumbai. We'll head to Mysore via Pune to stay at the famous Osho school of (weird, strange and scary) meditation before going up North for a couple of months. The rest after that is a surprise (apart from Oz of course)
ABRUPT ENDING
got to find a restroom now! Will update in Bangkok in next couple of weeks. Can't wait!!! Trying to hook up with a friend of my pal Tarek over there. I'll arrange a location like the middle of a full moon party on Ko samo pan jang beach or something (got to do some research on the place quick b4 I get over there) Got to get my roots done 1st as soon as I land, think there's more chance of finding haridresser with blonde dye in Bangkok then anywhere in India. And yes if ur wondering, I do have hair straightners in my backpack, and wot of it!
Over and Out xx
