My Birthday

For the last few weeks I've been working for the Master Builders Association, in Melbourne, as a telemarketer. It's a really nice place to work and everyone's friendly. There are four of us doing the telemarketing, Cathy, Pete and Jordan. Originally, we were told they'd only need us for two weeks but they've asked us to stay longer, which is perfect because I can work there until the beginning of July, when I'm meeting up with Chloe and Griff here for a few days, before I fly to Perth. I also worked a few shifts at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre, helping to move boxes and paintings from one place to another and I spent a couple of days on the tills. On my last Sunday there I sold two painitngs to Boyd from Neighbours!

Talking of Neighbours, I went to see Dr Karl playing in his band at the end of one of the Neighbours nights a couple of weeks ago. It was brilliant!

I've made a few friends here from my two jobs and from my hostel and some of us went out in St Kilda for my birthday and then to an English pub in the city. I went shopping in the day for something to wear, because I can't fit into anything I brought over with me!
