BeholdBeholdBehold

So remember Bram Stokers Dracula, the one with Keanu yeah... I looked like the old Dracula in the begining. Nice big slicked back hair. I walked a long time with that haircut to get home
I keep meaning to write another blog but I keep getting sidetracked. So here is the long delayed update. Time seems to fly by too fast. I had to break down and get a hair cut. I heard of a few good places, but I had some friends who said they knew where to get the best haircut ever. The downside, however, was you would end up looking just like the guy who cut your hair. I had to find out exactly what my friends meant. So I went to the Barber shop and walked right in. Inside there was this nice old man. He spoke very little english, but he did not need to say anything, because I was going to get the same haircut that everyone else got.

So I sat down and was was wrapped up with a towel around my neck and two aprons to cover me from the falling hair. On top of this there were little attachments that held the apron up in front of me to catch the hair as it fell. The hair cut started the same as every haircut. He sprayed my hair with some water and started to cut. He

had over 6 different combs and scissors each different in some way. As he cut he would pick a different comb and scissor combo to best approach my hair. When he was satisfied he motioned to ask if my hair was short enough. I said yes and off we went to the next phase. Mind you by now I had been sitting there for 30 minutes. He had taken great care to cut my hair.

Next I was treated to a hot towel wrap and a shave. He shaved my neck, my face (my entire face), and sideburns. It had been a while since I had been shaved with a straight razor. The razor burn was bad but not terrible. I came out with the closest shave I have had in a very long time. I was treated to another towel wrap and some aftershave. Somewhere in that time he pulled out a machine that looked like a belt sander. I was worried at first but then realized it was a back massager. So yes on top of a hair cut I got a nice massage too. Time has now been about an hour. I had almost fallen asleep

during the towel wrap and figured ok this is done. I have had a good haircut, shave, and now I feel pretty relaxed.

The hair cut was not over. After this point I was treated to a shampoo. Out of nowhere a sink materialized and he started to shampoo my hair with a deep scalp massage. From there I leaned into the sink and had my hairt washed. After all this was over he styled my hair, and yes he styled it just like his nice and slicked back. I have included pictures of the final product. The cut was a little under $35. But for that price I was treated like a king, it was well worth it.
