Happy New Years Mates! Haha...it's already almost 3am here, next year and I still can't believe another year has passed by again. A couple of friends and I went to Sydney Opera House and waited for about 11 hours for the fire works and celebrations to begin. It was pretty cool to be near the Opera House and Harbor Bridge for bringing in the new year. There were millions of people who came out to watch and it was pretty packed all along the harbors. There are still people wandering the streets, but it's pretty quiet for the most part. The fireworks were the highlight of the night. There are so many tourists here that it's hard to say what the locals are doing. Probably at home or at some fancy bar/lounge. The non-Sydneyers like us are just hanging out in the nearest open place. Anyhow, hope you have a fantastic new year celebration!!!
