Penguins!

I saw a penguin last night! I've been back in Melbourne for three weeks now and I've been up to the end of the pier, in St Kilda, most days to try to spot a penguin and yesterday I did! The first time I went I saw one, in the day time, but it was hiding and I saw a couple that evening but it was dark so I couldn't see much. After that day, I hadn't seen one until yesterday. It was swimming up and down alongside the breakwater at the end of the pier. It was so cute! The views from the pier are really nice at sunset, there are palm trees everywhere and a there's a good view over the city.

When I first got here, I was working, doing telesales, but I hated so I left after a week. So, now I'm looking for work again. I've just had an interview with an agency and I've got a couple more lined up.

I haven't done a lot in the last few weeks apart from work and look for work. Geoff was in Melbourne when I first got here so I met him one night in St Kilda, we went to Ladies Night at Base because of the free 'champagne'! I made friends with someone Geoff had met at the hostel, Sarah Cave, who's from Duston! Charlie was here for a few days too so we met up a couple of times.

Hey gorgeous, glad everythings going well, just been catching up on all your news. Are you going to be in Melbourne when we come over? we still haven't decided on dates although we need to soon. I think it'll probably be from about the 3rd to the 8th July and we'll probably fly as that'll be cheapest. can't wait to see you, i hear there's great hot chocolate and ice cream in Melbourne! Xxx
