Pisa

After arrival in Italy yesterday at Pisa, we spent our first full day exploring the 'Field of Miracles', which contains the main attractions of Pisa - the Leaning Tower, the Baptistry, the Duomo (cathedral), cemetry and two museums. We climed the tower which really leans a lot and got some nice views across Pisa. All the buildings are very impressive and the tower is being cleaned so looked particularly shiny. It did start to rain in the afternoon which did not affect us too much as we were in the museums but I think there will be quite a lot of rain the next few days unfortunately. We have quite a few indoor activities planned for Florence so hopefully it will not matter too much and it is warm.
Had some pizza, panini and bruscetta alreay : )
