1: Freaky Dolls 12 secs
Our last full day in our travels. To start the day off, we went to the Blue Mosque and went inside. It was stunning and so beautiful.

We then went on a walk up to the Spice Market. On the way, we had a look in the front gardens of the Palace, but decided no to go in. After a kebab lunch at the Spice Market we had a look around the area. At the bridge there, all the men were lined up fishing. Out of all of the men there, I can’t say that we saw one guy catch anything at all, except the little fish they use for bait.

We then decided to head in the direction of the Grand Bazaar, and wound our way around the local streets. I think we found the black market on the way. They were selling all types of electrical wears, but I can’t say they looked like they were something that would come with a warranty.

We weren’t at the Grand Bazaar for too long. Just enough so James could get some last minute things. I think I have been to the Grand Bazaar every day I was in Istanbul, so ran out of things to look out.

Finally we went back to the gardens to enjoy the sun and take a few photos. After this, it was back to the hostel and then out for dinner.

That night we had a few beers and sheesha. James was feeling sick, so went to bed early that night. Can you believe he struggled to finish one beer! I stayed out at the bar of the hostel, speaking to people who were staying at the hostel as well. Apple, banana and peach was the order of the day with the sheesha. One of the girls tried a “fruit salad” of banana and peach. Apparently the idea is much better then the result.

The following day, we just relaxed on the hostel roof, waiting for us to be able to go to the airport and back to London. Back to reality, and time to find work.
