I just arrived in Dublin about two days ago. I'm still getting used to everything--it's quite a change. Mostly I've been jet lagged/drunk/hung over. So ya know. Last night we all went on a musical pub crawl in downtown Dublin. I loved the Irish music & the musician who resembled a manlier version of Orlando Bloom. No joke. He had dark hair, beard that wasn't too scruffy, and was a great music-maker which is dead sexy.

Earlier today I went to my interview for my Internship. I took the bus to the south end of town where the University College Dublin is located. All together it took me about 3 hours to get down there, because of traffic as well me getting lost. I found the place after asking many a folks where to go along the way/using my mediocre sense of direction/maps. When I finally saw the sign "Geary Institute" I felt as although it were a mirage--especially considering that my poor feet probably wanted to murder me for wearing the MOST UNCOMFORTABLE shoes ever produced in the history of the world. Anyways, I felt like I had achieved a great accomplishment! (Shut up).

Oh, so why is this blog entry entitled "me love Hillary long time"? Good question. True story: I go to my first interview today, as mentioned earlier, and I'm sitting at a table being interviewed by my new boss. He's asking me basic questions and talking about what he thinks I can do as an intern to learn/be helpful. This is the boring part. THEN, another researcher walks by the door and my boss interrupts to introduce me. He says "Oh, so and so, come in here to meet the new intern Emily from MSU!" The guy comes in the room and says "OH, Hi! you're the Hillary fan right?" Then, before letting me respond puts the shape of an "L" on his forehand and starts LAUGHING HIS ASS OFF between the phrase "Loser!! Loser! Ahahaha". I just sort of sat there in uncomfortable awkwardness and mutter out something like, "Well, it's not over yet, she won big in West Virginia". Then he says, "Oh, um, I guess that wasn't the best thing to say the first time meeting you". We all had a good laugh about it--the whole idea that no one is as politically correct as Americans was confirmed during this experience. I honestly didn't mind it (no, really...well maybe just a little but still). However I have never experienced anything like it, I'm used to people shutting up when I say I support Hillary even though I know many of them are thinking that I am fucking crazy. I love it/hate it when people look at me like I have a disease when I say I am politically active and a Clinton supporter but cooo at me and say, "Oh, that's nice".

Oh, then he said, "Well when this is all over I guess Bill and Hillary's "marriage" will officially end, and Bill can go be with his girlfriend". HA.

On an a more serious note; It is not over until it's over...I'm still for ya Hillary...I love you long time.
