Today started with a trip to the Nubian Museum. This was a well-planned museum (in Egypt, that is something special) that had plenty of models that explained the moving of the temples. It was pretty interesting over all.

By late morning we were on the felucca and sailing north on the Nile, which is actually down stream. This was very relaxing and plenty of games were played, including the introduction of Backgammon.

At night we docked and set up a campfire where singing, dancing and drumming took place. We also got to try apple and grape sheesha.

The next day was spent on the felucca also, where more relaxing took place. In the afternoon, we got off at a small village, which is relatively untouched by tourists. It is a place where all the camels go before they go to the market from Sudan. The enclosures were basically small pens with about 25 camels in them that all looked at us when me walked in. Funny.

We then had a look around the market area. This was interesting to see, no one hassled us, but they were very friendly, asking questions about where we were from. We also so a very intense sibling fight here. In the end the small boy hit his sister with a stick. They like a good stick fight over here.

It was then back to the felucca for our last night on it. We docked at a kind of marshland and the sunset view was spectacular.

Once again the food was great and I ate way too much. Thank go we were eating healthy!
