Rottnest Island was coooel.....it rained though.....and we got totally soaked!! From the pictures I took you really would think it was a beautiful summer's day, and at times it was really warm.......but it did absolutely POUR!!! We did see some Quokkas however (sooo cute even hough they are a little rat-like!), Rhodri even got licked/nipped by one!haha The cycling was good fun too....we didn't do the whole island because of the unpredictable weather, but we saw the liitle church which was soooo cute, spoke to the Priest who I think was originally Irish! The beaches were absolutley gorge....the sand was majorly powdery and soft and it felt like a proper little island beach!!hehe The locals say that the island is hilly. This is NOT true if you are comparing their 'hills' to the rolling English countryside!!hehe A hill to them is like a bump to us.....trust me! Was nice to ride though....not boringly flat but not too strenuous either - the perfect balance :P The scenery was absolutely beautiful, and some parts of the island are practically untouched! There are no vehicles other than those of the police patrol, rubbish truck, and the buses.....just lotttttts of bicycles!!teehee The sea here is amazingly clear too....beautiful to look at in person but harder to capture with a camera! I did my best though :P

After we'd done Rottnest we went to a karaoke in the evening....this was rather interesting! It was the semi-final of a competition and there were some people that were actually OK, however there were others that could have done with a leeetle more practice if i'm going to be polite about the matter! It was a good laugh though, and nice go out for the evening!!

Today Sharon took me down to Scarborough Beach and along the coastline a little....this was good fun and the weather was nice and sunny for us too!! Later we're going to go to the cinema to a special kind of screening they call La Premiere....basically the tickets are a lot more expensive, but you get really nice seats and unlimited popcorn and soft drink....methinks this could be rather funno!!!

I guess i've pretty much brought you all up to date on the travelling life of Ceri now so I should really let you get back to whatever work you SHOULD be doing....I know my blog is sooo much more interesting but really guys.....GET BACK TO WORK!!hehehehe

Love you all loads
