hohoho look at me being all cool with my title :P

Anyways I am here in Perth and am having a great time so far!! After an overnight flight my Auntie and Uncle met me at the airport, where the immigration people were verry suspicious of my arrival as i only had a holiday visa and couldn't give them an address of where I was staying....the reason being I didn't know it!! They escourted me to the arrivals place where you meet whoever's picking you up to make sure that my family really was there to pick me up and I wasn't some scrounger who was coming into their country and just going to disapeer and never leave!!haha....all is good now though my friends, no need to worry...if you're coming to Oz however, always have an address on your immigration card :P

After about 2hrs sleep I met two of my aussie cousins for the first time in many many years, which was really nice!! (I think the lack of sleep is only just catching up with me now!) I also met Brad's (one of cousins) partner Danielle and her son Ryan too....they're really nice also and we all had lunch and a nice chat!!

Today it decided to rain buckets *whaooo*(sarcatically) My auntie Sharon was going to take me to Kahunu Koala Park but we decided to do that tomorrow now instead, as the weather was rather dismal during the first part of the day!!haha We took the scenic route through the hills to Brad's place instead. Stopped at a damn which I walked accross in the pouring rain (Sharon quite rightly stayed in the car!) Brad's place is sooooooo picturesque and earthly!! They have a little caravan which they have sort of attatched to a barn that is situated in their 11 acres of land....no house yet! It is really very homely however, and has all the amenities...tv, fridge, water, electricity etc....very civilised :P Their water is rainwater through a filter so you really know where it's come from too!!!hahaha

We then proceeded to Swan Valley which is where all of the winerys are.....we didn't taste any win, but we did go to the Margaret River Chocolate Factory where we got to try some chocolate samples, including a chilli chocolate....not really that nice, but ok to try!!hehe We then went for lunch which was lovely and to the oldest church in Western Australia!! It was soooo small and cute, worth seeing just to say i've been there!!hehe
Next we went to an Aborginal Art Gallery where they were selling Venetia's Jewellry (there you go mummy....you're famous!!haha) I think the reason was because the gallery owners daughter was also called Venetia....I took a photo and she said I wasn't allowed but I explained about the whole mum thing and she got rather excited there was another Venetia in the world 'It's such an unusual name'....bless

We then took a drive around North Town in Perth, which is the area where I have booked a hostel for next week....it seems nice and lively there...plenty to do and see and a good vibe as they say :P

Now i'm back home and am starting to feel the tiredness catch up with me! Ooooo I watched Neighbours yesterday too....they are sooo far ahead of us I don't even recognise half of the characters!! Next to check out Home and Away!!

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxmuchos love from the other side of the worldxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
