Day Eleven: Working out like a lady

Item checklist for the ladies who lunch.

* Impeccable outfit complete with matching nailpolish, accessories and gloves - check

* Friend dressed in the same, suitable manner - check

* Weary arms laden down with shopping bags from a hard day at Gucci, LV, Prada and the like - check

OK - the look is complete, now for the location

* Gorgeous, Young, Fit waiters perpetually bowed at the waist in servitude - check

* Deep red velvet chaise lounges, dark wood, classic furniture and a huge dangling chandelier - check

* Overpriced wine poured into glasses the size of ones head - check

* Desserts presented in a sea of decadance, under a silver tray served - check

Perfect location, now for the Extras

* Fancy whizzing toilet, complete with shower function - check

* Men to talk about - check

* Drunk Australian girls wearing tracksuit pants in the corner half pissed giggling into their cake - WTF???


uh-oh... seems Niske and I were not exactly in the right place at the right time.

It wasn't out fault though, It wasn't like we actually went out of our way to audition with the hundereds of Japanese hip Hop Professionals to win a trip to LA.

It's really not the most interesting story, but its safe to say that, the workshop wasn't for beginners, the American dance teacher didn't look any good in his lycra "denim" tracksuit, we have most likely given gaijins an even bigger reputation for being baka and chances of us passing the audition are ultra slim to none, as a few days have passed and we're yet to get a call back. Crazy Fools clearly don't know talent when it stands up the back of the room blushing saying "Oh my god, why are we here?"

The plus side of it all was getting pissed in the posh bar down the road in our workout gear and actually finding my way home on the JR whilst half cut, walking like the bad ass hip hop gangsta I am.
