Manly Scenic Walk

The weather was lovely today, perfect for walking. Ae Rhan and I walked to Circular Quay to meet Claudia before catching the ferry over to Manly. We were a little late because we both wanted to stop at Darling Harbour to buy sunglasses. We caught the 12pm ferry and planned to get the free bus to the end and do the walk backwards, but the bus didn't come and the lady in the information centre was very unhelpful. In the end, we decided to start the walk from where we were and get the bus back. It was about 1.30pm when we began the walk.

At the beginning of the walk there were lots of spiders everywhere! The views along the way were beautiful and we took short breaks at the best lookout points. There are two great lookouts in Sydney Harbour National Park, the first called Arabanoo lookout, which had really nice views across the sea. There was an aboriginal carving on a rock we came across but it wasn't very clear. We wandered down to Grotto Point Reserve to see the lighthouse but were a bit disappointed, as it doesn't look much like a lighthouse. We completed the walk a bit before 6.30pm. We took the bus back to the beginning and watched the sunset before catching the ferry back to Circular Quay.

Ae Rhan and I got home at around 9pm, absolutely exhausted. Sarah came over to say her final goodbyes before we all went to bed.

Hi, The views are fantastic! I would've just stayed there for the rest of the year! Pity about the No Nude Bathing thing but we cant have everything ha ha ha! Anyway, it all looks so wonderful and it lifted me beyond dull Manchester for a second or two!!!
