So.....good news! (NOT) My computer has officially breathed its last breath. Not sure what I'm gonna do about it. Still kind of hoping I can bring it back to life but it's been 2 days and it just can't recover. The battery was really bad (3rd one I've got from Gateway) and it wouldn't turn on a few days ago but after a while I got it back on. So then I decided to leave it on and plugged in and never turn it off cuz I knew it wouldn't come back. Then the other day it just BOOM, turned black and went out and it wont turn back on. I pretty much knew this was going to happen but it usually always pulls through some how, if I'm really nice to it. I have been asking it kindly for 2 days to turn back on and it wont so either it has decided to hibernate for a long time...or I just need to give it a proper burial. (do you love how I'm finding humor in all of this? because it is definitely not funny)
The news has hit me pretty hard...i just pulled myself out of bed after finishing a box of cookies....it was all i could do. So my kind roommate is letting me borrow her computer.
Other than that I had a pretty sweet day....we did some hardcore hiking, got up at 6 and spent the day (with no sunscreen?) under the blazing hot African sun. We went abseiling...which is like mountain climbing but backwards...just propelling down the mountain and jumped off some freakin HUGE cliffs. It was pretty rad, I must say. It would have been better if I knew my computer was working though... anyway, I am officially redder than a tomato but I think I got a good base tan. ha ha....
I have a bunch of pretty awesome pictures but....that would require my computer. (tear)
All I can really say....is R.I.P. computer.
Oh...AND (more good news) the cell phone was stolen, perhaps, or lost....so don't call me! I have a new number...and I will give it to whoever wants it...but don't call the old one....but if you do, and if they answer....tell them to give me back my phone!

Oh poor computer and poor Bethany. I had a feeling when we met at Panera that it might die and it sounds like it did the same thing my old one did and sorry kid but mine still hasn't come back to life and it happened 6 months ago.... I hope you get it figured out though. Life is tough without a comp (as you now know) espcially when you take a gazillion pictures. Is there any way you can get a new one? I'll just put a plug in here, although Macs are expensive, the rock. No problems as of yet, you should totally get one :)
