admiring the view
Pip and Kim, the nearest beach to Kim's caravan. Actually, it belongs to Kim, Isaac, Kirsty and Paul jointly. One day it will be a bach (cabin). Well, near Abel Tasman! We met up with my friend Pip in Nelson, so now its SOUTH Island. We spent two nights at her house, then drove off to Farewell Spit, to catch up with daughter Kim, her husband and 2 little girls who were staying nearby in a caravan. They have bought a small piece of (remote) land up there, and I have to say, its beautiful. So far away from everyone, on a small peninsula so you can walk any way to the sea. We did, had a swim, then went back to the cabin Pip had booked for the night, right beside the sea. Today we walked on the bottom of Farewell spit, then had lunch before Pip and Kim took off for Nelson. Alex and I decided we need another day here, so found a handy backpackers place.

It looks beautiful
What a lovely place this looks - not a lot of people and lots of water! When is Alex going on a kayaking adventure?
