Hi guys,
It's a poor show but it's been a while since we've written; esp. from me (adam)! We finished our week of Pow on good form with instructor Glen with the usual Thirsty Thursday drinks in the resort Griz bar. This was followed by a lift home by Glen in his huge truck doing doughnuts in the car park in the snow!

The weekend was full with an avalanche safety course (the first day being class based) which felt like being back at uni, but was interesting, esp. watching the cheesy 90's video with multi coloured one-piece ski suits!

Sunday was our first lie in for a while and the afternoon snowmobiling. With 2 others losing their deposit so far we were quite anxious about crashing but soon forgot about that and went for it. Hot chocolate and cooking our own frankfurters on a wood fire half way through was a novel break.

The past two days instruction have been Steve, an ultimate fighter and freestyle specialist. His way of teaching is simply jump off as many kickers, lips, mounds as possible...he showed off to us by doing a back flip off the first jump of the day (not doing that just yet myself). Today we had a olly competition jumping over a bamboo pole (a bit like limbo but jumping over rather than bending under! - weird analogy i know).

Ending the day with 180 degree jumps and a few bruises I am looking forward to tomorrow on my new board and bindings - there was only so long i could suffer the insults to my flow bindings!

cheerio and hope you're all well.
Adam (and Sarah)

Nice helmet
hey Dudes, we're just back from Vail Colorado - it was awesome! snowed everyday so plenty of POW! I even switched to a board for the last day, no speed demon yet but did switch and a double black diamond - moguls are more fun on skis. Thirsty Thursday sounds like fun! keep up the reports, you lucky ......... Dave
