Sorry I haven't uploaded any photos yet, I'll do it as soon as I can.
We're staying in Rochester with Stephen. Everything is so English! Little narrow cobblestone streets, shops and building built in the 1600's. They even have their own castle ruin!
I'm sure Stephen is getting sick of the whinging Aussies. We just can't believe how cold it is here: a brisk 5-10degC during the day! Winters in Brisbane barely dip below 15. We've visited Canterbury, ducking from pub to pub to escape the cold. A large part of the English day revolves around pubs and the consumption of cider, which is about 3 times stronger than our Stronbow and served in proper fullsize pints.

We had a party thrown for us by Ozy and a bunch of others. Ozy is a chef, so the food just kept on coming! Everyone there was extremely friendly, and we had a fantastic time when we weren't hit by waves of jetlag.
Ozy has offered to give us a tour of London on Wednesday, looking forward to it.

To be honest, it feels like we could be in another state of Australia. They speak the same language, drive on the same side. The real adveture starts when we hit France... Hoo boy.

Onya kids! :-)
Great to hear that you made it in one piece. Just remember, our Brissy winter does dip below 5 degrees every couple of years. Our summers are just too long to remember. :-) Have a great tour around France. Eat muchos pizza. :-)

So Jealous!
Oh, I'd love to be over there with you. I'd much rather the colder weather than the stupid humid and rainy weather you left behind here in Brizzy. LOL
